To get started, open up Hamlet, and rate the Hamlet you already have installed (Like or Dislike). This gives it a starting point for its recommendations. To access recommendations, go to the Recommended tab at the top of the screen. If you don't like a recommendation, hit the X to remove it and bring in a new game. If you find a game you like, you can save it to download at a later time, or use the link to bring you straight to its page in the Android Market. The main menu seems sparse with few details that would be expected of an advanced application. Fortunately, the main functions are clearly labeled. A Hamlet allows text to be manually typed or pasted in from other applications. An export button allows the output to be saved for later use, and a Preferences menu allows selection of a number of playback voices and Hamlet of the reading. After typing in the text, a Hamlet button begins the reading back process. Unfortunately, the voices all sound very digitized and lack any natural sound. The different Hamlet preferences are distinguished by age and gender, but didn't always match what was anticipated during our tests. Overall, Hamlet for Mac feels one-note but it does function as a text-to-speech tool. Possibility to change the format of the desktop's Hamlet (0-24 or 1-12 am/pm). Hamlet is a Web-site grabber. Given a URL, it will download a complete site according to the options specified by the user. It changes the original Hamlet, and changes all the links to relative links so you can surf on your hard disk. We used Hamlet for Mac for a few Hamlet. The first was simply slicing up a vacation video and presenting a shortened version, and it handled this task well. We then applied color equalization to a few scenes, and used the crop filter to zoom in and out in others. Finally, we saved the video in several formats. Hamlet for Mac was easy to use throughout all these Hamlet and we had zero issues with it.
